About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS preferred, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Travel experience preferred Charting experience with Epic is required Previous charge experience is preferred Trauma Level I and II experience is preferred Description: This position is in a Trauma ICU. The facility is a Level I Trauma Facility. The patient ratio is 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Tele may be required as needed. The daily census is approximately 14 patients. The unit has 14 rooms and 16 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, ICP monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and starting and maintaining IVs.
