What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up CNC mills and/or lathes for tight-tolerance, precision parts

• Work from detailed blueprints, GD&T, and process documentation

• Dial in first article and ensure parts meet quality standards

• Select tooling, adjust offsets, and maintain process stability

• Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Troubleshoot issues while maintaining compliance with standards

• Partner with quality and engineering teams on improvements

What You Need to Be Considered

• 3+ years of CNC setup experience in a precision environment

• Strong blueprint reading + GD&T understanding

• Experience holding tight tolerances consistently

• Comfortable working in a process-driven, quality-focused shop

• Ability to make offsets, tool changes, and adjustments independently

• Aerospace, aerospace suppliers, or energy manufacturing

• Multi-axis machining (3, 4, or 5-axis)

• Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar controls

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
