Job Description Responsible for operating one or more types of CNC production equipment, selecting and adjusting machine settings as needed to ensure optimal performance. Follows established quality and safety standards while working independently within defined procedures. Demonstrates proficiency across multiple job-related competencies and uses sound judgment to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Consistently adheres to all company policies and safety procedures and helps ensure coworkers do the same. Key Responsibilities CNC Operation & Setup: Efficiently set up and operate Haas dual-spindle CNC lathes, bar feeds, and chucks. Technical Skills: Perform precision machining, program editing, and troubleshoot machining issues. Quality & Inspection: Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and enter production data into company computers. Finishing & Packaging: Clean, de-burr, and package finished products. Shop Support & Safety: Perform light machine maintenance, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Qualifications CNC Program Editing CNC Set-up General machine operation. General quality systems. General inspection practices. Visual inspection. Ability to read blueprints/part prints. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
