Teacher of the Visually Impaired - TVI

Job Summary (Teacher of the Visually Impaired Fayetteville, NC, 2026-27 School Year)
- Full-time position (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026-27 school year (August 10, 2026 May 27, 2027)
- Responsible for teaching K-12 students who are visually impaired; duties assigned based on experience and preference
- Conduct ongoing student assessments using formal and informal testing methods
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and collaborate with faculty and parents
- Participate in and prepare for ARD meetings as required
- Ensure compliance with district guidelines and meet students' educational needs
- Engage and connect with students, including those with externalizing behaviors
- Opportunity for relocation with travel stipends available
- Must hold NC VI Teacher Certification and an EIPA score of 3.3 or higher
- Approximate weekly earnings of $1800, dependent on experience
- Eligible for tax-free per diem stipends (if applicable)
