RBC Support Services, operated by CoreCaring Group LLC, is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families within our partner schools. The therapist will collaborate with school staff and families to address students’ behavioral, emotional, and trauma-related needs while supporting their well-being and school success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health screenings and clinical assessments.
• Provide behavioral health education for school staff and parents as needed.
• Facilitate prevention and psychoeducational groups focused on coping skills, anxiety, anger management, conflict resolution, and other student needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals for additional services or higher levels of care.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and service logs in accordance with applicable MDHHS, payer, and RBC requirements.
• Develop and update Individual Plans of Service (IPOS) using person-centered planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Active Michigan license appropriate to the role: LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, or LP.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with children, families, and school staff.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools; valid driver’s license if driving for work.

Schedule and Compensation

• 15–30 hours per week, primarily during school hours.
• Additional hours may be available based on caseload and program needs.
• Hourly rate based on license level and experience.
