Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication growth as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based setting near O’Fallon, IL. You will collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff, providing direct services to students and participating in progress monitoring throughout the academic year. Qualifications:

• Current SLPA licensure in Illinois is required
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to student needs and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in implementing therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
• Assist in conducting screenings and informal assessments under the direction of a licensed SLP
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and report data to supervising SLPs and educational teams
• Provide support in classroom settings and collaborate with teachers and families to reinforce communication strategies
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development as needed
