We're looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Foreman who thrives in the field, enjoys solving technical challenges, and takes pride in building and mentoring high-performing crews. This is more than a foreman position. It's an opportunity to lead ongoing fire alarm modernization and retrofit work at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport , overseeing critical life-safety systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As the lead foreman, you'll oversee a crew of approximately 6-8 technicians while remaining actively involved in the installation, troubleshooting, and modernization of commercial fire alarm systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring fire alarm technicians and installers
• Managing daily manpower, materials, and project execution
• Coordinating work within an active airport environment
• Overseeing device replacements, retrofits, upgrades, and repairs
• Troubleshooting live commercial fire alarm systems
• Directing conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and related electrical work
• Managing schedules, documentation, as-builts, redlines, and daily reports
• Communicating with project management, airport personnel, and client stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications
• Keeping projects on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality standards

We're looking for a proven field leader who can balance technical expertise with strong people leadership.

Required Experience:

• Foreman or lead technician experience managing field crews
• Commercial fire alarm installation, retrofit, service, and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with major fire alarm platforms such as:
  • Honeywell
  • Notifier
  • Siemens
  • Edwards/EST
  • Simplex
  • FCI
• Strong troubleshooting skills in occupied commercial environments
• Commercial electrical experience including conduit and wiring
• Blueprint reading and field documentation experience
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICET Level II Fire Alarm Certification
• NICET Level I with progression toward Level II
• CSA II Certification
• Airport, healthcare, data center, or secure-facility experience
• Honeywell fire alarm platform experience
• Experience working on active retrofit and modernization projects

• Primarily night shift
• Typical schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Generally Monday night through Friday morning
• Flexibility required based on airport operations and construction access windows

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
