Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Raleigh / Durham, NC Job Type: Full-Time/Part-time (On-site) Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic Patient Population: 16 to 75 years old. Schedule: Typical split clinic schedule 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (No weekends/No holidays) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an outpatient physical therapy team serving patients in the Raleigh/Durham area. The PTA will assist in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, manage pain, and recover from injuries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently across multiple clinic locations, providing patient-centered care while maintaining strong communication with supervising physical therapists. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapists Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapists Educate patients on exercises, recovery techniques, and injury prevention Ensure patient safety during therapeutic procedures Travel between clinic locations as needed Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Active North Carolina PTA license Minimum 2 years of outpatient or rehabilitation experience Ability to work independently and manage patient care responsibilities Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Health insurance stipend available Possible sign-on bonus or relocation assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Protouch Staffing
