Periodontal Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator

Sage Dental seeks a Periodontal Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to support our patient-centered periodontal team. In this role, you’ll guide patients through recommended treatments, explain procedures and benefits, verify insurance, and present financial options with clarity and empathy. You’ll prepare and track treatment plans, coordinate appointments across providers, and maintain accurate records using modern dental software. Working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment, you’ll partner closely with clinicians and front-office staff to ensure excellent patient experiences and strong case acceptance. Responsibilities Present comprehensive periodontal treatment plans and financial options to patients. Verify insurance benefits, calculate patient portions, and obtain necessary pre-authorizations. Coordinate and schedule periodontal and related dental appointments across providers and locations. Maintain accurate electronic treatment plans, notes, and financial arrangements in practice software. Educate patients on periodontal procedures, aftercare, and the importance of follow-up treatment. Collaborate with clinical and front-office teams to support strong case acceptance and patient retention. Follow HIPAA and practice policies to protect patient privacy and financial information.
