Overview

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, and distributing materials throughout the facility. This position also maintains accurate inventory records, completes daily system transactions, and safely operates warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials, supplies, and equipment from incoming trucks.
• Inspect cartons and products for damage, accuracy, and correct quantities.
• Compare received materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and internal specifications.
• Complete daily receiving and inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Label and store incoming raw materials in the correct locations.
• Deliver materials to designated work centers using request lists or pick lists.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Engineering to resolve receiving issues.
• Report inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain organized receiving documentation and files.
• Coordinate outgoing freight as requested.
• Order and distribute non-inventory supplies.
• Remove pallets, packaging materials, cores, and other waste from work areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Ability to inspect materials and identify damage or quantity discrepancies.
• Experience completing inventory transactions in an ERP or warehouse management system.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently during an overnight shift.
