JOB SUMMARY Our Summer Internship Program at Sysco is a 10-week paid program designed to enhance your education by providing real-world experience. Your internship is designed to provide you with the skills and professional experience to take with you well beyond the classroom. During the 10-week program, you are involved in much more than the day-to-day operations of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES As an intern, you are exposed to relevant projects and challenges in a dynamic environment. We equip you with the knowledge, skill, and expertise needed for the next level. Will work with and be mentored by the best and the brightest, and receive valuable performance feedback. Planned social activities provide exposure and opportunities for you to network with leading industry professionals. Offer a variety of learning experiences through training, development, and mentorship while completing a meaningful project to support and drive the business.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree with concentrations in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain. Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 2.7) Rising seniors majoring in supply chain strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work requires the following physical activities: sitting, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between departments. Work may require bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crouching; extensive telephone work. Ability to receive detailed information through both verbal and written communication. Able to express or exchange ideas utilizing the spoken word. Can lift up to 50 lbs. Use of both hands is required.
