Job Summary
We are seeking a Batch Mixing Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in a chemical manufacturing environment in the Pittsburg/Bay Point, CA area. This role supports safe, accurate, and efficient batch mixing operations, mixer clean-up, vessel clean-up, tooling preparation, and solvent handling activities. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced manufacturing or production operator who is comfortable working in a safety-focused, procedure-driven environment. The team values quality, accountability, communication, and reliable attendance. Operators receive direction from area leadership and designated trainers, with clear expectations, structured procedures, and a team-oriented work environment. Key Responsibilities - Perform mixer clean-up, vessel clean-up, tooling installation, and changeover support according to established procedures.- Support batch mixing operations by preparing tools, completing set-up checklists, and assisting with next-job readiness.
- Retrieve, store, filter, transfer, track, and replenish DBE solvent in accordance with safety and handling requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily records, tracking documentation, and reporting related to clean-up, tooling, and solvent management.
- Follow 5S, visual management, housekeeping, safety, and quality standards throughout the production area.
- Work effectively with supervisors, trainers, and team members to complete assignments within established time frames. Compensation and Benefits - Pay: $28 to $29 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.
- Schedule: Graveyard shift, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Shift rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off.
- Start date provided: 4/22/2026.
