Who You Are As a Secure Transport Driver/Officer, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring that Curaleaf’s delivery operations run safely, smoothly, and with a strong customer focus. You’ll be the person our customers rely on to receive their products securely and on time, and you’ll deliver each order with professionalism, care, and strict compliance with state regulations and company policies. You’ll also help keep the facility safe by monitoring activity, documenting incidents, and assisting with day‑to‑day safety tasks. What You’ll Do Delivery & Compliance (Primary Function) Safely transport cannabis products to customers in accordance with all company policies and state regulations. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate service. Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after deliveries to ensure clarity and satisfaction. Maintain delivery vehicles, including cleanliness, routine inspections, and reporting maintenance needs. Communicate delays, issues, or concerns to customers, Store Manager, and internal teams. Security & Safety (Ancillary Function) Conduct interior and exterior facility patrols to identify potential security risks and ensure site safety. Monitor surveillance equipment and report suspicious activity or security irregularities. Respond to alarms or incidents, escalating to Security Manager, law enforcement, or emergency services when appropriate. Assist in inspecting and maintaining security systems and equipment; report any concerns or malfunctions. Escort unauthorized individuals from restricted areas as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation including security reports, delivery logs, and compliance‑related records. What You’ll Bring High school diploma or GED. At least 25 years old. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer‑facing role. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Clear communication, strong organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with technology, POS systems, and delivery or routing apps. Calm under pressure and good judgment in routine and unexpected situations. Compliance with all legal and company requirements for working in the cannabis industry. Even Better If First Aid/CPR certification. Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience. Experience in highly regulated retail environments. Background in delivery, logistics, risk assessment, or emergency response. Experience in e‑commerce fulfillment operations. Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. Extended driving periods up to 14 hours per day are also required. Occasionally, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. The position requires close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Work Environment This job operates in a professional retail environment. Standard office equipment such as computers, POS systems, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets are used. The position has allergen warnings including potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens and requires the ability to work in confined spaces, a high‑stress tolerance, adaptability, and flexibility in an ever‑changing environment. Delivery work includes driving in various weather and traffic conditions. Security tasks may require responding to incidents, alarms, or emergencies. The position is in a high‑compliance environment requiring strict attention to detail and mandatory documentation.
