Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory work
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms and ensuring proper patient positioning, as well as handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a preference for surgical focus

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
