Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including conducting physical examinations and reviewing comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical cases through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide critical support during surgeries by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients effectively, and ensuring smooth instrument exchanges
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge preparation, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferable

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
