Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in building operations and maintenance, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting on-site building maintenance and repair activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Shrewsbury, MA

Pay Range: $48/hr

Shift: 3rd Shift Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7am

What's the Job?

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems and industrial equipment.
Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Complete maintenance and repair records accurately and efficiently.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED; trade school training preferred.
EPA Certified and Universal CFC certification required; additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related fields are a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and work order systems.
