Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Charge Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants (includes additional $5/hour differential for charge responsibilities)

Schedule: Weekend schedule Friday through Sunday; on-call requirements include one weekday per week and one weekend rotation every 5-6 weeks; patient ratio 1:1

• Comprehensive cardiovascular surgical case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and vascular procedures

• Assignment covers winter holiday period with expectation of holiday availability
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Previous charge experience strongly preferred
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including scrubbing capabilities
• Community hospital and trauma center (Level I or II) experience preferred
• Full compliance with all credentialing requirements must be completed prior to start date
• Flexibility to work major holidays and limited time-off requests strongly preferred
