The Studio Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations, sales performance, team development, and overall success of the studio. This position plays a key role in creating an exceptional member experience while driving membership growth, revenue, and profitability. The Studio Manager leads and develops the sales team, sets and tracks sales goals, monitors key performance indicators, conducts demos and drives conversions, and ensures the studio consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations. This role also focuses on building a strong team culture, developing future leaders, engaging with the local community, and maintaining a welcoming, professional, and results-driven studio environment.

Core Responsibilities/Duties

• Oversee all day-to-day studio operations to ensure a seamless, welcoming, and professional member experience.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including conversion rate, utilization, retention, and sales performance
• Track daily and weekly sales results and take action to address performance gaps.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and other administrative studio functions while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and holding team members accountable to schedules, performance expectations, and operational standards.
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and development of sales associates.
• Coach and develop the Sales Associates to help them achieve individual and sales goals.
• Establish clear expectations and foster culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Drive membership sales and ensure the studio consistently works toward revenue and membership growth goals.
• Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, events, and strategic community partnerships to increase studio awareness, generate leads, strengthen local engagement, and drive membership growth.
• Handle member questions, concerns, feedback, and cancellations with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Create a studio environment where members feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their wellness goals.
• Conduct demos and focus on converting demos into sales, maintaining a 40% or higher close rate
• Establish and set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for the studio and Sales Associates, and monitor their performance to ensure goals are consistently met or exceeded.
• Run and lead weekly sales meetings to review performance, discuss goals, identify opportunities, and provide coaching and accountability to the sales team.

Expectations

• 2+ years of management experience, preferably in fitness, wellness, retail, hospitality, or a studio environment.
• Proven track record in sales, membership growth, business development, or revenue generation
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, staffing, and day-to-day operations.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for health, wellness, fitness, and helping people
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend as needed.
• Experience working with CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activity, maintain member information, and support follow-up and conversion efforts.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.
