Qualifications:

• Current or pending Alabama SLP licensure (ABESPA AL SLP Cert and/or AL SLP DOE Cert)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary or intermediate students
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct speech/language therapy to students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Offer consultation to staff and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Contribute to a welcoming, student-focused school climate
