IT Support Specialist

A health services organization in California is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join thier team in Los Angeles, providing frontline technical support for hardware, software, and end users in a collaborative office environment.


About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

• Serve as the first point of contact for end users and provide technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot user problems, determine appropriate solutions, and guide end users through resolution steps.
• Install, modify, repair, and support computer hardware, desktop applications, printers, and mobile devices.
• Escalate unresolved issues when needed and follow up to ensure concerns are fully resolved.
• Document issues, organize solutions, and develop training materials and standard operating procedures as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT environment.
• Experience in a help desk or end-user support setting.
• Experience with hardware, desktop applications, printers, mobile devices, and remote support tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to provide effective customer service and maintain accurate documentation.

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification experience.
• Familiarity with Zoho ticketing systems and Webex or Zoom.
• Experience creating training manuals and SOPs.
• Strong planning, organizing, and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment.
