That's why we strive to create a work environment that challenges and inspires our employees, igniting their passion and drive to achieve greatness each and every day. $10K Sign on BonusDepartment: TransportationEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Frankfort, KYWorkplace type: HybridCompensation: $135,000 - $175,000 / yearKey ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects primarily in, but not limited to, the transportation market.Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control to ensure successful project completion.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.Provide technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and materials selection.Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Develop, review and approve project documentation, reports, and specifications.Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving technical challenges.Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on transportation structures related issues.Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required.15+ years of experience in structural engineering and project management.Proven track record of managing structural projects.Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., OpenBridge/LEAP, MIDAS, OpenRoads, MicroStation).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience working with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.Experience working in multiple states is a plus.Project and/or client management experience is required.Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in the design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale structural projects of varying technical complexity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Teams.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, as well as time management skills.Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client needs and deadlines, as well as other assigned project parameters.Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.BenefitsExcellent compensation packageFlexible work scheduleAbility to work hybrid work scheduleCompetitive holiday and paid-time-off programs401(k) Plan and MatchCompetitive health, vision and dental insurance premiumsCompany-furnished life insuranceShort and Long-term DisabilityParental LeaveVariety of voluntary benefit optionsEmployee Assistant Program (EAP)Flexible Spending Accountand MorePay TransparencyThe base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting.
