Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care in a busy ER setting, delivering high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient flow of emergency services.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions on arrival, prioritize care based on acuity, and develop treatment plans.
Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and infection control standards.
Respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations, including rapid intervention and code response.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC certifications.
Demonstrated experience with GE monitors and Meditech EMR.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
