Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist
Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Acquisition and processing of all Nuclear Medicine exams. This will include general NM scans along with Nuclear Cardiology studies.
- Quality control of all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
- The safe handling of all diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals.
- The safe handling of all therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
- Weekday, weekend and holiday call for after hour emergencies.
- Follows all NRC and NJDEP regulations regarding radiation safety
Experience Required:
Completion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirements
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine
License/Certification Requirements:
Current BLS.
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License or Current CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medical Tech License.
Current NJ-NUCMED - NJ Nuclear Med Tech License.
