CONTROLLER
JOB SUMMARY
The Controller is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial
reporting functions in a professional and confidential manner. The Controller oversees the Finance Department and associated functions including but not limited to cost and general accounting, accounts receivable/collection, payroll and risk management. The controller is responsible for working with the agency’s Auditors in providing all required information for the year-end Audited Financial Statement and the completion of the annual Consolidated Fiscal Report. This position is a professional accounting position with responsibilities that are complex, confidential and essential to the financial integrity of the
Agency.
The Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or master’s degree preferred
- 10-15 years accounting non-profit business experience
- Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting and knowledgeable in GAAP, NY State and regulatory Agencies standards
- Knowledge and proficiency of financial systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Supervisory experience

Annual Salary Range: $145,000 – $152,000
