Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Outpatient Portland, Oregon Central Interstate Medical Offices (Kaiser Facility) Contract Duration: Dec 26, 2025 – Apr 03, 2026 (14 Weeks) (extension likely) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,483.79 Schedule: 4x10 Hours | 40 Hours/Week Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a high-priority outpatient role at a Kaiser facility in Portland, OR. This position requires a strong background in outpatient therapy and orthopedic-related cases , working with diverse patient populations in a structured clinical environment. Facility & Work Setting Facility Type: Kaiser Permanente (Critical Need) Schedule: 4 days/week (10-hour shifts) Key Responsibilities Evaluation & Diagnosis Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations Assess cognitive-communication disorders Develop treatment plans based on clinical findings Therapy & Treatment Provide individualized therapy for: Speech and language disorders Cognitive communication deficits Swallowing disorders (if applicable) Apply evidence-based treatment techniques Care Planning & Monitoring Track patient progress and adjust interventions Set functional, measurable goals Work closely with physicians and rehab team Educate patients and caregivers Documentation Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Follow Kaiser protocols and EMR standards 4x10 shifts (better work-life balance) Requirements Must Have Active Oregon SLP License BLS Certification Minimum 3+ years Outpatient Experience Strong orthopedic outpatient experience Preferred Prior Kaiser experience Travel experience Strong interdisciplinary communication Key Skills Outpatient therapy expertise Communication & documentation Time management in fast-paced clinics Why This Assignment?
