Registered Nurse Operating Room

Hours are 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours shifts, dependent on the needs of the surgical schedule. On-call approximately one day every 11 days during the week and one weekend every 11 weeks on a rotating basis. This is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical department that has experienced a recent large volume, low acuity expansion of patients. Types of surgeries performed include Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, Arthroscopic ACL/PCL Repair, and repair of fractures (hip, wrist, etc.). Other surgeries include GYN (not OB) - hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, General Surgery, Robotic da Vinci, MAKO, Globus, Urology laser litho, TURBT, TURP, and Endoscopy. This department does not perform heart, head, pediatric, OB, ENT, or eye surgeries.
