Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care to critically ill children in a fast-paced environment.Contract DetailsDuration: 13 weeksStart Date: OctoberShift Options:Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)Schedule: Rotating shift patternsTime Off:Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays3 weekends per six-week scheduleTime off cannot be approved during the first 2 weeks of the contractApproval for up to 40 hours of time offResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive and compassionate care to pediatric patients in the PICU.Monitor and assess patients' conditions, intervening as necessary.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs.QualificationsCurrent BLS and PALS certifications are required.Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus.Must have a valid Virginia nursing license or license pending.Join UsIf you are passionate about providing exceptional care to children in critical condition and meet the qualifications outlined, we encourage you to apply and be part of our dedicated team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of pediatric patients.
