Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This role involves providing critical care in a Level IV Trauma Center with a focus on lower acuity ICU patients, including stroke, COVID, medical, surgical, behavioral health, overdoses, post-cardiac arrest, and ventilated patients. The position requires adaptability to various patient needs and team support, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Sheboygan, WI, 2629 North 7th Street
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), 2-3 years of ICU experience, read/interpret strips, vents, chest tubes, traches, line management, proning experience, bedside and nursing station telemonitoring (no tele tech in ICU), support from CNA (ratio 1:7), willingness to float to cardiac unit, comfortable with scrub colors, and able to work in a professional manner.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, support from RT (Respiratory Therapist), hospitalist team, ICU educator, and therapy teams (OT, PT, ST) during weekdays and weekends.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to the cardiac unit.
• Orientation: One shift to learn flow.
• Scheduling: Weekend rotation every other week (default). Approval for up to 7 days off. On-call schedule varies based on unit needs.
• Other Notes: Parking is free for employees in designated areas.
