By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. The RTs work 4x10 hr shifts per week, Monday through Friday. They will self-schedule call shifts after the daily schedule is made, including self-scheduling weekend of call. I complete the schedule on a monthly calendar basis. Therefore, at least one weekend per month of call that includes a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These 3 shifts are part of the ten call shifts per month. Once a month, a long weekend is given off without having to request. For example, if the RT works Monday through Thursday, they will have a long weekend of being off Friday and Monday without requesting.
