Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid AL Speech Language Pathology license required
• Current Educator’s Certificate required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong background in pediatrics or healthcare-related SLP
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Contribute to IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations
