Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment protocols
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including prepping surgical rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly regarded

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
