About This Job As a Ready Mix Plant Manager, you lead all aspects of plant operations to ensure efficient production and delivery of high-quality ready-mix concrete. You oversee minor equipment maintenance, and maintain a safe working environment while adhering to budgetary guidelines and regulatory requirements. Your role is critical in driving operational excellence and meeting customer demands. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manages ready mix concrete production to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules. Leads all plant management activities. Ensures quality control standards are met through regular testing and inspections. Oversees inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials. Coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. Implements and enforces safety management protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in ready mix concrete production or Construction. Knowledge/Skills In-depth knowledge of ready mix concrete production processes. Proficiency in plant management principles and practices. Strong understanding of quality control procedures. Excellent inventory management skills. Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements. Strong team leadership and communication skills. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to work in a plant environment, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
