General Purpose To assist the Administrator in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times. Knowledge & Experience Familiar with an office setting. Work history in the healthcare industry. Computer proficiency, familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office products. Working knowledge of office machine operations, such as a photocopier and fax machine. Be able to work under pressure with interruptions Proficiency with written and spoken English. Proficiency with English composition rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation Work well within the organizational structure and with inter-departmental relations. Be courteous and tactful when dealing with residents, visitors, families, and personnel.
