About the job Rutherford is exclusively partnered with a global credit fund that are looking for a mid-level Attorney in their New York team. The individual will have a hybrid role across Legal & Compliance, reporting into the Global General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Responsibilities:

- Support the establishment and structuring of new business lines and strategic initiatives, working closely with Executive Committee members and Head of Credit.
- Advise on transactions across the credit investment teams.
- Provide legal and regulatory support to the broader business and various stakeholders within the CLO sector.
- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in developing the compliance program for the CLO business, along with related ad-hoc projects.
- Manage regular legal and compliance matters.
- 4 - 7 years of practical legal experience within a top law firm or credit firm.
- Strong structured finance, securitisation or broader credit background
- The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the investment advisors act and relevant regulatory rules.
