Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging; experience with vascular procedures a plus
• Strong understanding of anatomy and imaging techniques
• Effective communicator, able to work both collaboratively and independently
• Committed to high standards of infection control and patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound exams per physician directives, ensuring proper imaging protocols
• Verify patient identification, obtain consent, and educate patients on procedures
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of studies performed
• Assist and instruct radiology students and fellow techs in procedures and equipment use
• Operate advanced imaging systems and troubleshoot as needed
• Respond effectively in emergency situations and prioritize patient care tasks
• Maintain equipment, cleaning standards, and follow all regulatory protocols
