Senior Staff Phyisican

The Senior Staff Physician is responsible for the provision of high quality, evidence-based direct patient care to a diverse population on UNLV’s Maryland Parkway campus of students in the UNLV Student Health Center (SHC) and faculty, staff and dependents age 5 years and older in the Faculty and Staff Treatment (FAST) Center at UNLV. As a full-time clinician (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), the Senior Staff Physician is an effective healthcare team member on a multidisciplinary team and provides direct patient care, in person or via telehealth, including assessment, diagnosis, initiation of treatment, evaluation of responses to treatments, referral to appropriate specialists and higher levels of care when indicated, and accurate and timely documentation of all findings concerning the patient in the electronic health record (EHR).
