We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigator to manage high-profile cases and mentor junior attorneys. This position is an in-office role based out of our office located in Winter Park, FL.

Position Overview:

The Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney will independently manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters and represent clients in state and federal courts. This position requires a strong understanding of the commercial litigation lifecycle from initial consultation through pre-trial and appeals. The ideal candidate will have an established Book of Business and be motivated to build and maintain additional client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting legal documents, overseeing discovery processes, preparing for trial, and negotiating settlements and other forms of dispute resolution.
• Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior attorneys and participate in the Firm’s business development efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases to formulate litigation strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Florida; admission to additional jurisdictions is a plus.
• A minimum of 10+ years of litigation experience.
• Superb understanding of commercial procedure and substantive law in Florida.
• Exceptional legal writing, oral, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success in similar past roles.
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys and/or staff is a plus.

Compensation:

• Successful candidates will be provided a salary commensurate with their experience, as well as a generous performance-based bonus.
