Operations Coordinator

Zukin Realty seeking a Property Operations Coordinator who thrives on keeping people, projects, and processes moving efficiently. The right person is highly organized, proactive, and naturally takes ownership, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. This role serves as a key support partner to the team and plays a central role in the day-to-day coordination of maintenance and construction operations. You’ll work closely with vendors, tenants, and internal team members to keep projects on track, communication clear, and operations running smoothly. You will be the connector between field activity and office operations. Maintenance Coordination • Assign and schedule maintenance and repair work across internal teams and contractors • Act as the main point of contact for work orders and service requests • Follow up on open tasks to ensure completion and accountability • Support apartment turnovers and ongoing maintenance planning Inspections & Compliance Tracking • Coordinate required inspections with municipalities and third-party vendors • Track deadlines and ensure all properties remain compliant • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for permits, reports, and inspection results • Schedule move-in and move-out inspections Operations & Scheduling Support • Maintain calendars for maintenance and construction activity • Coordinate timelines between vendors, contractors, and internal staff • Help keep renovation and project schedules moving forward Office & Field Support • Provide administrative and operational support to leadership • Organize documentation and improve tracking systems • Assist with on-call coverage when needed (local availability preferred) • Conduct occasional site visits to verify progress or support inspections Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, construction support, dispatching, or operations • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Clear communicator who can confidently work with vendors, tenants, and internal teams • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail • Comfortable using systems, spreadsheets, and operational tools • Self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant direction • Willingness to occasionally be on-site as needed Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
