Manager-Level Health Consulting Actuary RoleClient-facing healthcare consulting, closer to client-facing consulting than a carrier pricing role because project delivery, reports, budgets, and varied healthcare organizations shape the work. Manager-level Health consulting actuary role with Milliman's Tampa Health Practice, focused on Medicare Advantage pricing and bid-setting. You'll analyze healthcare data, lead client engagements, explain technical findings to non-technical audiences, manage project budgets, and supervise actuarial staff. The role is based weekly in the Tampa office, with remote arrangements considered.Must have:5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience leading teams in Medicare AdvantageLegal authorization to work in the US without sponsorshipWork in-person in Milliman's Tampa office on a weekly basisStrongly preferred:Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or related fieldFSA designationProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook toolsSome knowledge of SAS, SQL, or PythonSome experience with AI tools like Visual Studio Code or Microsoft CopilotStrong understanding of the US healthcare systemDemonstrated ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audienceExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently and in teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentNice to have:Experience in ACA pricing and reserving is a plusTools: Excel, PowerPoint, Other_BI_Tool.
