About the Opportunity: We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Candidate. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team. The role will be processed based and will have a focus on supporting and performing all aspects necessary for the maintenance of the equipment used in the manufacturing of components and the repair and construction within the facility. Location: Morton, IL - Onsite. Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Responsibilities: Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment Determines the reasons for equipment failure Make routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications, installation, layouts, and sketches to facilitate internal repairs of less than major repairs Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge willingly with other employees Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions and maintains a neat and orderly work area Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Zero (0) to Three (3) years of Maintenance Mechanic experience (aerospace or manufacturing industry preferred) or related field. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written. Experience in precision manufacturing equipment. Experience in Fanuc, Haas and Yasnac controls. Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment. Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving. Working Conditions: Must be able to pass an eye exam on an annual basis. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Must be able to communicate verbally and have the ability hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
