RPh on the Go has partnered with a hospital in Chicago seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to join their pharmacy team. This is a full-time, 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity for a local pharmacist with recent hospital and sterile compounding experience.
Position Details
- Chicago, IL
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Full-time | 13-week temp-to-perm
- 1st or 2nd shift
- Local candidates only – no travel candidates
Responsibilities
- Review and verify inpatient medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications and IV therapies
- Monitor medication therapy, dosing, interactions, and patient-specific considerations
- Work closely with pharmacy technicians, nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team
Requirements
- Active Illinois Pharmacist license
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must reside locally in the Chicago area
