$25.75 - $30.00 per hour

$27.00 - $31.50 per hour

7:30am 4:30pm, Monday Friday

Shift Option 2

8:30am 5:30pm, Monday Friday

Days

Monday Friday. No 12-hour shifts offered.

COMPLIANCE NOTES

Must be available for 9 consecutive days of training, Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm, before resume is submitted - non-negotiable
Facility does not permit agency staff to work more than 40 hours/week unless individually approved
No requested time off will be approved at this time (can be discussed)
Valid photo ID required
Negative PPD results required within the last 12 months
COVID-19 negative test result desired (not required) prior to starting in-person work - facility provides testing
Must pass a urine drug screen and background check (candidate/agency provides)
Must pass an FBI fingerprint background check (facility provides)
All compliance must be met before candidate can start - no exceptions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory management
Preparing medications for pharmacist final check
Delivering medications to patient areas
Conducting medication area inspections
Providing technical assistance and clerical duties
Providing guidance to others as needed
Working under limited supervision with independent judgment within the boundaries allowed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Adhering to standards of professional, legal, and ethical practice and all applicable HHSC and TSBP laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, in good standing
Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work
Must maintain current TSBP license registration on file with the Contract Office at all times while providing services at the facility

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with the Pyxis MedStation System
Experience with medication room inspections
Experience with manual and automated medication repackaging
