Electrical / Control EngineerThe Electrical / Control Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for the integration, programming, and troubleshooting of automated industrial equipment. This hybrid position combines electrical expertise (hardwiring, panel assembly, and system installation) with control systems skills (PLC/HMI programming, automation logic, and commissioning). The engineer will support projects from initial design and development through onsite installation, debugging, and post-installation customer support, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial machinery.Responsibilities and Duties:Design and create detailed electrical wiring diagrams and circuits using AutoCAD softwareSelect any electrical components needed for each projectFollow up on orders, perform hardwiring, panel assembly, and field installation of electrical and control systemsEstablish and ensure correct conditions and sequencing through PLC and HMI programming to meet customer standardsSet up, establish, and correct proper communication between robots, welders, and all safety components, through either hard wiring or communication modules like CC-LINK, DEVICE-NET, COMPO-BUS, COMPO-NET, and PROFI-BUS.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality proceduresMaintain accurate documentation of wiring, configurations, and control programsOn-site installation and support (approximately 20% currently)Education & Experience:Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related technical field preferredEquivalent combination of hands-on experience, technical training, and demonstrated skills will be considered in place of formal educationTypically 5-10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or electrical engineering.Experience with FANUC, Yasukawa, and Motoman robots is a plusSkills and Competences:PLC programming and HMI configuration (Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)Hands-on installation, testing, and commissioning experienceAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detailProven organizational skills and ability to plan aheadPossess strong analytical skills to identify the root causes of equipment failures and propose effective solutions proactivelyEagerness to learn, adapt, self-starter, and team playerStrong interpersonal and communication skills
