Management Analyst

GS-11:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Graduate education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. GS-12: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position. OR Experience: Experience GS-11 and GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: GS-11: Experience presenting information and training to staff during Branch meetings regarding office procedures. Experience inputting data into various spreadsheets and databases for further analysis by Management. Experience assisting in the development of acquisition training for contracting staff.

GS-12:

Experience developing and implementing new standard operating procedures throughout the Branch. Experience developing spreadsheets and databases to track vital acquisition information to respond to Management and Departmental data calls. Experience developing presentations to be used in formal acquisitions training for annual acquisition training. If applicable, credit will be given for experience gained in community, cultural, social service, and professional association on the same basis as paid work experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities.
