Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Health Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers about therapeutic practices to promote ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Track and Adapt Treatment: Monitor patient development and revise treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they remain on the path to improvement.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications.

Certification Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
