Job Description
You will serve as the primary business advisor to 2-4 assigned customers at the Department Head or equivalent level, and is accountable for awarding their contracts for supplies and services in a timely manner.
You will possess an unlimited Contracting Officer's Warrant and be authorized to execute a wide variety of contractual actions, including all actions executed within Code 023.
You will be the approving official for all actions up to $10M with no additional oversight or review, which constitutes a significant amount of personal responsibility for the candidate.
You will lead and be the first-level supervisor for a division consisting of 25-30 contracting professionals.
You will be responsible for managing the workload and professional development of all of the contracting professionals assigned to Code 023, including multiple Navy Acquisition Development Program (NADP) interns.
You will serve as a member of the Code 02 Management Team (MT) and Contracts Peer Review Board (PRB).
