Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

Salary Range:

$85k $105k (based on experience) Are you a passionate clinician eager to make a difference in the field of gastroenterology? We re seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our client s dynamic GI department, serving patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a respected medical center in New York. What You ll Be Doing: Partner with gastroenterology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Conduct specialized diagnostic tests and assessments for patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns. Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs. Deliver patient education, including disease prevention and self-care strategies, to empower those you serve. Maintain meticulous medical records using charting systems and documentation best practices. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to drive quality outcomes and efficient care delivery. Ensure medical documentation of patient encounters, treatments, interventions, and results is consistently accurate and timely. Who We re Looking For: Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (required) Graduate of an accredited NP program at the master s level At least 5 years acute inpatient experience 3+ years as an NP (preferably in GI, or in adult/family practice) Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued Why You ll Love Working Here: Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.
