Labcorp – Phlebotomist Part Time Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions. This role is located at 3440 Lomita BLVD #136, Torrance, CA 90505. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 am‑1:00 pm, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostics. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications California state Phlebotomy license (CPT). 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy licensing requirements. 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Quarterly incentive bonus may be available. Employees scheduled fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.
