ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Battery Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to forklift batteries and material handling equipment at customer locations.

We're looking for professionals who take pride in solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, Diagnose and perform minor repairs on industrial batteries
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Water industrial batteries
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
• Maintain work area, tools, and inventory
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment, required
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical school education, preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (may require medical certificate or CDL)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push and pull up-to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions

Preferred Experience:

• Forklift battery repair experience
• Battery electric and lithium-ion equipment
