You will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, create thoughtful engagement experiences, and connect supporters with the impact of Hawaii Foodbank's mission across the state. A hybrid schedule after the introductory period. Position Summary The Leadership Annual Giving Officer cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of leadership annual giving donors and prospects. This role is responsible for increasing philanthropic support, strengthening donor engagement, and building a pipeline of donors who may progress to major giving. The position manages donors capable of making annual gifts of $5,000 to $25,000 and carries an annual fundraising goal. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 125 to 175 leadership annual giving donors and prospects Develop individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies Conduct donor outreach through meetings, phone calls, written communications, and engagement opportunities Identify and qualify new prospects through donor analytics, referrals, events, and community connections Achieve annual fundraising goals and support donor retention, upgrades, and revenue growth Build a pipeline of donors moving from annual giving toward major gifts Create meaningful donor experiences that reflect Hawaii Foodbank's mission and community impact Coordinate donor visits, tours, events, volunteer experiences, and other engagement opportunities Provide timely and thoughtful donor recognition, impact reporting, and personalized outreach Maintain accurate donor records and portfolio activity in Raiser's Edge NXT Track portfolio performance, pipeline movement, and fundraising outcomes Collaborate across the development team to support donor progression, stewardship, reporting, and data integrity Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Three to five years of fundraising, sales, business development, donor engagement, relationship management, or comparable revenue-generating experience Proven ability to solicit and close gifts, sales, or comparable financial commitments Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or a comparable CRM is preferred Commitment to high-quality service, professionalism, equity, dignity, and mission-driven work Valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle Role Details Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Schedule: Full-time, exempt; occasional evenings and weekends required Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with four days in the office and one remote day after 90 days Travel: Local driving for off-site meetings, fundraisers, and marketing events as needed Compensation Compensation is determined individually based on the experience, qualifications, and expertise each candidate brings to the role. Leadership Annual Giving Officer: Up to $95,000 annually. While the position is being advertised as a Leadership Annual Giving Officer, final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, demonstrated capabilities, and overall alignment with the role.
